APPLICATIONS:

Surface Preparation

New Surface to be cured 28 days before painting and free form all waterproofing issues.

Prepare the surface by using suitable sand/emery paper scrapping tools to remove dirt, dust, grease, loose flaking paint, laitance, algae, fungi etc. and wipe it clean.

Primer

Apply coat of Shalimar Water Thinnable Cement primer as per recommendation.

Allow it to dry for 3-4 Hrs or apply coat of Shalimar Universal White Primer as per recom mendation. Allow it to dry 6-8 hrs.

Spot prime before and after filling nail holes/cracks.

Putty(if requried)

Level the surface with Shalimar Magic Acrylic Wall Putty or Shalimar Shakti Wall Guard putty and allow it to dry for 4-6 hrs.

Sand surface with 180/320 emery paper and wipe it clean.

Apply an additional coat depending upon the surface conditions and smoothen the surface.

Top Coat Application

Thin Mela Acrylic Distemper with potable water, 50-60% by weight.

Apply 2 coats of distemper with an interval of 4-6 hrs, application can be done by brush, roller or spray.

Dark shades require additional coats for better hiding and appearance.
