High-grade, mineral-stabilized asphalt mats reinforced with fiberglass mesh make up CertainTeed roofing shingles. High-strength ceramic-coated granules are placed on top for durability, and a mineral stabilizer/fire retardant is placed underneath. Suitable for sloped roofs, including wood, fiber cement board, and RCC slabs.
