The TE525METS-L rain gage is a precision instrument designed to measure rainfall in 0.01 in. increments. It features a 6 in. orifice and a bucket mechanism that tips when filled to its calibrated level, triggering a momentary switch closure that is counted by the pulse-counting circuitry of Campbell Scientific data loggers. The gage is compatible with all Campbell Scientific data loggers and has a special connector for attachment to the MetSENS550.
