Guardian SunGuard - Solar Plus Light Blue 50

The latest addition to the Guardian SunGuard® Solar Plus range of coated solar control glass, SunGuard® Solar Plus Light Blue 50 minimizes solar heat gain while maximizing visible light transmission. The glass has a beautiful light blue appearance, providing architects with a uniform reflected and transmitted color without sacrificing on performance.

Even in monolithic form, Light Blue 50 combines good solar control and thermal insulation with high natural light transmission (51%), but also offers low internal reflection (6%) and external reflection (16%). With a solar heat gain coefficient of 0.42, the glass helps architects and designers meet energy efficiency certification objectives.

Light Blue 50 can be used in a wide range of commercial and residential applications including curtain walls, windows, facades and skylights. The glass can be used in a double insulating glass unit or in monolithic applications, where the glass has been tested and proven for its durability.

Light Blue 50 is designed to be optimally applied on clear float glass . The glass is available annealed, as well as heat treated or laminated for safety, security or acoustic applications.
