Shalimar Paints Shaktiman Eco Exterior Emulsion

Shalimar Shaktiman Eco Exterior Emulsion is a water-based acrylic exterior emulsion suitable for dry to moderately humid climatic conditions. Its algal resistance along with anti-flaking property offers beautiful walls for years.

Application :

Surface Preparation

New surface to be cured 28 days before painting and free from all waterproofing issues.

Prepare the surface by using suitable sand/emery paper or scrapping tools to remove dirt, dust, grease, loose flaking paint, laitance, algae, fungi etc. and wipe it clean.

Primer

Apply coat of Shalimar Alkali Block Primer/ Shakti Exterior Acrylic Primer as per recommendation. Allow it to dry for 3-4 hrs.

Spot prime before and after filling nail holes / cracks.

Putty(if required)

Level the surface with Shalimar Magic Acrylic Wall Putty or Shalimar Shakti Wall Guard putty and allow it to dry for 4-6 hrs.

Sand surface with 180/320 emery paper and wipe it clean.

Apply an additional coat depending upon the surface conditions and smoothen the surface.

Primer

Apply coat of Shalimar Alkali Block Primer / Shakti Exterior Acrylic Primer as per recommendation. Allow it to dry for 3-4hrs.

Top Coat

Thin Shaktiman Eco Exterior Emulsion with potable water, 50% to 70% by volume.

For Deep, Accent base & dark shade thin with potable water 20-30% by volume.

Apply 2 coats of Shaktiman Eco Exterior Emulsion with an interval of 4-6hrs.

Application can be done by brush, roller or spray.

For dark shades require additional coats for better hiding and appearance.
