For a smooth finish, try to apply the paint in strokes that follow one direction (e.g., from top to bottom or side to side). Overlap the brush strokes into the "wet" edge of the previous section to prevent lines or "lap marks" from forming as the paint dries. To achieve a Smooth Finish, Avoid Overloading: Don't use too much paint, as it can lead to drips and an uneven finish.

Apply in Thin Coats: Instead of one thick coat, apply two thin coats to achieve a more even and durable finish.
